ملخص: يعالج البحث قضية أسلمة العلوم النفسية والاجتماعية عند إسماعيل الفاروقي، من خلال

بيان مفهوم الأسلمة عند الفاروقي وتوضيح أهميتها، وبيان دوافع الفاروقي للقيام بمشروع الأسلمة،

ثم توضيح خطوات الأسلمة. وقد استخدم الباحث في دراسته المنهجين الاستقرائي والتحليلي

الاستنباطي، وأظهرت الورقة أن الأسلمة إعادة صياغة المعرفة الإنسانية وفقاً لوجهة النظر

الإسلامية؛ أي إعادة صياغة المعرفة على أسس علاقتها الإسلام، وتعد جانبا أساسيا من جوانب

متعددة في بناء الأمة الإسلامية في الفكر والتصور، ولا تلغي الإنجازات المعرفية والعلمية

والحضارية للعلوم المختلفة، بل تسعى للمحافظة عليها وتمحيصها ووزنها بميزان الإسلام، وتسهم

في تكوين عقليه علمية منهجية، وتقديم معارف وأهداف واستنتاجات جديدة

Islamization of Psychological and Sociological

Disciplines for al-Faruqi

Abstract: The paper addressed the issue of Islamizing Psychological and

Sociological disciplines as seen by Ismail R. al-Faruqi. It attempted to achieve

this aim by expounding the concept of Islamicisation for al-Faruki and

elaborating its significance, clarifying the motives of al-Faruki behind the

Islamization project, and the steps of this Islamization. The study employed

the inductive and deductive analytical approaches. The paper defined

Islamization as the reformulation of knowledge according to the Islamic

perspective, namely, the shaping of knowledge based on its relation to Islam

as a transcendent message. Knowledge in this sense is an integral and

essential element of constructing the worldview and thought of the Ummah.

Islamization does not abolish the accumulative achievements of knowledge,

sciences and contributions of other cultures. Contrarily, Islamization seeks to

preserve, scrutinize, and weigh them in the light of Islam. In this manner,

Islamization will contribute towards the formation of an original scholarly

methodological stance that offers renovating content, aims and results.
